About Popeye

Since January 2006 we have a new stallion in the barn. His name is Popeye. The 10 year old is sired by the stallion Lancet. Lancet took part in the Olympics of 2004 ridden by Imke Schellekens-Bartels.

He was already performing pretty well with his former rider. She rode him up to the class of 5th level and together they have been Champion of the region Limburg several times.

Jenny started of in the 5th level class with Popeye but only a little while later they also rode for the Young Riders together. In both classes they booked excellent results from the start. After the Dutch Championships of 2006 they switched from 5th level to Small Tour. In this class Popeye already participated in several national and international competitions.
